What Are Dental Veneers
How Are Veneers Applied?
Our doctors will begin by preparing the surface of your tooth for application of the veneer. Depending upon the type of veneer being used, very little of the tooth’s enamel surface will be removed.
Occasionally there is no local anesthetic required in the application of dental veneers. After the tooth’s surface is cleaned and thoroughly prepared, the veneer is carefully bonded to its surface using special cement. The procedure is finished after using a curing light to harden the material and any excess cement is removed so as not to affect your bite.
