The Best Halloween Costumes of 2014

With Halloween just around the corner we wanted to know what the best costumes will be in 2014. There are tons of cool trends from movies and even more resources to put together something truly original. Here is a list of some of our favorites.

Guy dressed as pirate

Frozen Princesses

Many little girls dream of one thing only, becoming a Disney princess. Frozen is giving an entirely new generation the ability to experience the charm!

This was pretty much a given, little Annas or Elsas will undoubtedly be out in full force this year. Keep an ear out for ‘Let It Go’ choruses as they serenade through the streets – you’ve got a princess in your midst.

The Hunger Games

Expect to see a lot of girls toting bows around in the style of Katniss Everdeen, recent champion of the Hunger Games. Apart from the obvious, the Hunger Games universe opens the door to a lot of really funky and creative costumes. Group themes definitely deserve some of your best handouts on Halloween.

The Undead Prom King/Queen

Now here’s a fun idea that lends into traditional Halloween cheekiness and scare – the undead prom king & queen. It’s the perfect blend of formal and zombie! Put on a nice suit or dress and go to town on your undead makeup. Don’t forget the sash!

The Roaring 20s

A costume is costume, it doesn’t need to necessarily be anything but glam & glitz. Borrow a page from The Great Gatsby and fancify yourself. This is the one day out of the year when nobody will look at you twice for looking so swanky, relish it!
